Justin Szela, LCSW, MSW

Welcome—I’m glad you’re here.

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Arizona, providing compassionate, evidence-based therapy for adults and couples. My focus is on helping individuals navigate trauma, substance use, and a wide range of mental health challenges in a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment.

My approach is grounded in understanding how past experiences influence present emotions, behaviors, relationships, and stress responses. Together, we work to uncover patterns, build insight, and create meaningful change.

I integrate a range of therapeutic modalities, including EMDR, Somatic Experiencing, CBT, DBT, CPT, Motivational Interviewing, and mindfulness-based techniques. No matter the method, one goal remains constant: supporting your goals and your journey.

I believe therapy is a collaborative process. My role is to walk alongside you—offering guidance, insight, and encouragement as you reconnect with yourself and build the life you want.

Originally from Connecticut, I earned my Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California, specializing in Adult Mental Health and Wellness. I’ve spent the past six years living in Scottsdale, Arizona, which I now proudly call home.

Outside of my practice, I enjoy golfing, spending time outdoors, and being with my miniature dachshunds.
